What is Which? Trusted Traders?

Which? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme that recognises reputable traders in the home improvement sector. The aim of the scheme is to raise the standard of the trade industry for consumers , by setting a benchmark we expect all traders to meet before they can become endorsed.

What it means to be a Which? Trusted Trader?

At EA Mobility, we are extremely proud to be endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader. It is a key element of our offering to all our clients as it reaffirms our client-centric approach and ensures we maintain our high standards for every project we take on.

Why did we become endorsed?

Becoming endorsed by Which? Trusted Traders was very important for us. We always aim for the highest possible standards in everything we do for our clients. Becoming endorsed by Which? Trusted Traders was a key part of this for us. We were officially endorsed in June 2018, meaning that we are nearing our 5 year endorsement anniversary.

How did we become endorsed?

For us to become endorsed by Which? Trusted Traders, we had to complete a thorough assessment process like all other endorsed traders. This involved a credit report, customer reference checks and a visit from a Which? Trusted Traders trading standards professional. The assessor came to our premises and conducted an interview and assessed our business processes, documents, staff, and complaints procedures. As part of this process, we had to sign up to the Which? Trusted Traders code of conduct which sets put what Which? expect from the traders they endorse, and helps protect consumers. All the traders on the scheme must sign up to this in order to become endorsed.

What does this mean for our customers?

Our endorsement as a Which? Trusted Trader is great news for our customers. It means that we have agreed to abide by the details in the Code of Conduct. This provides an extra layer of security and ensures that we are following best practice and procedures in relation to how we handle: consumer contracts; goods and materials; taxes; consumer cancellation rights; payments; guarantees and warranties; insurance complaints; and other areas.
