Low Level Access Showers & Easy-Entry Bathing
The smart, affordable solution for replacing a bath. Our low-threshold trays offer safe, easy access without the need for expensive floor excavation.
Safe Bathing Made Simple
A low level access shower is the ideal solution if you are steady on your feet but struggle to climb over a high bath rim. We install a reinforced shower tray with an ultra-low threshold (typically just 40mm high). This small step is easy to navigate, providing a clearly defined, watertight bathing area that instantly reduces the risk of falls.
These showers are perfect for homes with solid concrete floors where digging to sink a tray isn’t feasible. At EA Mobility, we install these easy-access suites quickly and with minimal disruption. We combine the practical safety of a step-in shower with modern glass screens and high-quality finishes to give your bathroom a stylish look.
Key Features
Ultra-Low Threshold
We use reinforced level-access trays installed flush with your existing floor. This eliminates the “step over” danger of standard cubicles, making entry effortless for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
Concrete Floor Friendly
Unlike wet rooms which require digging, low level trays sit neatly on top of your existing floor. This makes them the fastest, most cost-effective solution for ground-floor bathrooms with solid concrete bases.
Anti-Slip Technology
We use industry-leading trays featuring a specialised textured surface. This provides exceptional grip underfoot, giving you the confidence to shower safely without the fear of slipping on smooth acrylic.

What is the difference between Low Level and Level Access?
A Level Access shower is flush with the floor (0mm step). A Low Level shower has a small lip (approx. 40mm) to step over. Low Level is often chosen for concrete floors where sinking the tray is not possible or to reduce installation costs.
How high is the step?
The threshold is incredibly low—usually between 25mm and 40mm (about an inch). This is significantly lower than a standard shower tray and much safer than climbing into a bathtub.
Can this be installed on a concrete floor?
Yes, this is the #1 reason people choose them. Because the tray sits on the floor rather than in it, we don’t need to dig up concrete, making it a faster, cleaner installation for ground-floor rooms.
Is it safe for elderly people?
Yes. While there is a small step, we install grab rails to assist you. The tray itself has an anti-slip surface, making it a very safe option for anyone who is mobile but needs extra stability.
How long does installation take?
Since there is less structural work involved than a wet room, a low level access shower is one of our quickest installations. We can often transform your bathroom in as little as 3 to 4 days.
