Reinforced heavy-duty strength
Bariatric & Heavy Duty Toilets (Up to 70 Stone)
Stop worrying about stability. Our reinforced bariatric toilets are engineered for individuals up to 450kg (70 stone). Combining unmatched structural strength with dignified, modern design for UK homes.
Strength you can trust
Heavy Duty Reliability. Dignified Design.
Standard UK toilets are only tested to support approx 20 stone (130kg). For larger users, this creates constant anxiety about movement, cracks, or instability. Our Bariatric range removes that fear instantly. We supply and install specialist sanitaryware designed to handle significant weight without flexing or moving.
Whether you need a discreet Close-Coupled model that looks like a standard suite, or a Stainless Steel reinforced unit for maximum durability, we have the solution. Our toilets feature extra-wide seating areas (up to 19 inches) and reinforced sub-frames, ensuring you feel safe, secure, and comfortable every time.
Built to reassure
Key Features
A highly durable, ultra-strong, and fully accessible bariatric toilet solution for maximum support and comfort.
-
Ultra-High Weight Capacity
Engineered for safety. Our pans are load-tested to support weights from 300kg (47st) up to 1000kg (pan only), with seat options rated for 450kg (70st). No more wobbling.

Reaching to wipe can be difficult. We can upgrade our bariatric toilets with Wash & Dry (Bidet) seats or Bio-Bidet systems, restoring complete independence and hygiene.

Reinforced Installation
A heavy-duty toilet requires a heavy-duty floor. Our installation team reinforces your floorboards or walls to ensure the unit is structurally sound and safe for long-term use.

FAQs
Answers to some of the questions we get asked most often. If you can’t see the answer you need here, have a look on our FAQs Page.
Do I need to reinforce my floor?
Usually, yes. A heavy-duty toilet plus the user’s weight creates a high “point load.” During our survey, we check your floor joists and reinforce them if necessary to prevent movement.
Can I get a wider seat?
Yes. Standard seats are often too narrow and cause pinching. We supply “Big John” style seats (up to 19 inches wide) with stabilising bumpers to prevent the seat shifting sideways.
Is it VAT Exempt?
Yes. If you require a bariatric toilet due to a medical condition or disability, you do not pay VAT on the supply or installation.
Do you install grab rails with it?
Yes. For bariatric users, standard wall-fixings for grab rails may not be enough. We install Drop-Down Support Rails with floor-fixed legs to ensure they can take your full weight when standing up.
