The key feature is the minimal step height. Our Low Level Access Showers feature an easy-entry tray that sits no higher than 40mm (or less) from the bathroom floor. This low-step design makes entering and exiting the shower significantly easier and safer than a standard bath or shower tray, without requiring a complete floor conversion.
How does a Low Level Access Shower compare to a Level Access Shower?
The difference lies in the threshold height:

Low Level Access: Has a very low lip (typically 20mm to 40mm) which is sufficient for most people with mobility issues but who can manage a small step.

Level Access: Is completely flush (10mm or less) with the floor, offering a zero threshold entry often required by full-time wheelchair users or those with highly limited mobility.
If you can manage a very small step, a Low Level Access Shower is an excellent, less disruptive installation option.
