The size of the room is only one factor in the final price. The total cost to install a disabled wet room depends on the level of adaptation required, the complexity of the waterproofing (tanking), and your chosen fittings and wall finishes. The primary safety feature is the level-access design. By eliminating the bath or raised shower tray, the floor is completely smooth from wall to wall. This removes the main trip hazard in a conventional bathroom and allows for effortless access for walking aids, wheelchairs, and carers. The floor is also fitted with anti-slip vinyl or safety-rated tiles for extra grip.

Yes. Because the entire space is exposed to water, excellent ventilation is essential, especially in smaller wet rooms, to prevent damp and mould. We ensure every installation includes a high-powered, properly rated extractor fan that removes steam and moisture quickly. This is crucial for preserving the longevity of the room and maintaining a healthy environment.

In a small wet room, a full shower enclosure can defeat the purpose of the open design. We often recommend a half-height glass screen or a minimalist, low-profile glass panel. These screens offer enough protection to contain most of the water spray while maintaining the open, spacious aesthetic that makes the wet room so effective in a small space.
